Chicken meets Lamb..........

Everytime i turn on my desk top, wanting to post new entry......i will always say ..." ah...blog visit first then i'll update mine...."

More often, i would spend hours reading my bloglist, follower and those blog that i've bookmarked when finally (hmmm finally, what a word) i have to log off to do other chores.

Today- after sending son1 to the bus terminal, came back, went to market to buy stuff.

Today - time to entertain my son2 to his request; egg tofu for lunch;
Son1 & son2 came back few day ago, son2 for his semester holidays.

Today, now - Told myself, i have to update my blog......and again after turning on my desktop.......i blog-walk instead. Been here for an hour an a half..................if i don't update, i'll have to turn off in few minutes....to cook! HEH..........

Okay, have many things to say, few stories to tell.........this one first lah;

Past few days, son1 and son2 at home, i cook whatever they requested

Cili Chicken:
This dish was introduced by my brother about 12 years ago. It has been a hit since with slight alteration to suit my family's taste buds. This simple dish is also well accepted by both my sister-in-law's family.
Can replace with prawns or potatoes .......can even put curry leaves for added flavors.
My sons like chicken or potatoes just like this;

1 chicken cut to small pieces ( i cut to 20 pieces), cleaned, coat with salt and turmeric and deep fry. Put aside.
3 onions, sliced and fry using the same oil (reduce oil to about 3/4 cup) till onions turn soft and slightly browned.
Slow fire, pour the fried chicken into pan.
Sprinkle about 5 tablespoons of cili powder onto chicken.
Fire at medium, stir chicken until well coated (with cili powder)
Stir in 3 tablespoon sugar (add one or two more tablespoon if you like it sweeter)
Off fire and ready to serve.

Note:
For potatoes, you use slightly less oil and add little bit of salt together with the cili powder. And yes you fry the potato first ya.

Cili chicken for lunch

fish for son2
(he doesn't quite like lamb though he eats them)

Dinner: lamb for son1 (sorry pic was blurred)

Oppps, cannot talk about just sons without telling about my other half....................

He's on a 3d2n trip to the east coast and will be back tomorrow...:))
